Hey everyone!

Our board was born on September 16th 2009, and since then we now have 57 members and a fair amount of active members. Now that we have contenders we are going to start a contest, something that I think will be a tradition here at the Diaries Online, a consistent group of Elite members.

What are Elite members?

This group of elite members have to be:

A devoted member of The Diaries Online.
A devoted fan of The Vampire Diaries.
They will post often and always be in the middle of a good discussion.
Invite other fans to join.
In it's most basic description: these members must be a key part of the development of the board.

Only two or three may be chosen at a time, and these members must always remain a key part of the board and remain active, if not, they might just be demoted back to regular ol' member.

Why would I want to become an elite member?
Elite members will be given special privledges that others will miss out on! They will be able to have bigger icons/avatars than the rest, and they will be able to have big signatures; multiple images. But most important, they will receive the recognition of being an elite member here at TDO.

When does it start? How does it work?
The contest starts TODAY, it will end December 16th.

To be a part of the contest, simply post here letting us know you're ready to participate.

When the time comes the staff will decide who truly deserves to be an elite member.
